Onkst has always had a natural gravitation to the art world and all things creative. He first decided to pick up a brush when he was 13 years old and has never stopped. As an artist, he has developed his style through years of experimentation, trial and error, and patience. Onkst’s signature style is characterized by flowing layers, action, movement, and emotion. “Some things simply cannot be expressed through words alone.” (AO). Each piece is its own engulfing universe that invites the viewer to an experience through encoded words, motifs, numbers, and symbols. Powerful and passionate compositions meant to shake the snow globe of the viewer’s ordinary routine by stimulating and inspiring them.

Although he grew up in a small town in central Pennsylvania, art has allowed Onkst to travel and exhibit his works across the United States and overseas. His work is featured in collections alongside artists such as Damien Hirst, David Salle, Taher Jaoui, Adam Handler, Romero Britto, and more.
