Kinetic Art

A sculpture composed of moving parts. The moving parts are generally
powered by wind, motor, or influence from an observer. Kinetic art has its earliest
conceptual origins in the 19th century but didn’t become popular until the early 20th
century. Marcel Duchamp’s 1913 Bicycle Wheel is said to be the first kinetic sculpture.
