Movies can transport us to a first kiss a first date the last time you held someone’s hand, sitting in bed together watching a great film, and even if the person changes the film, stays the same as does the memory. When I made this photograph I had a very specific idea, I wanted a giant screen with 1950s cars. What I wanted didn’t exist so with the help of an amazing team we built it. We brought in the cars the dirt and [my friend] spent weeks making this screen for me. This was a large undertaking, but I could not get this image out of my head.
