“Imbalance” is about the emotional weight one carries around with them in a relationship. Over time, that imbalance can overpower the relationship and eat away at the love. It is this imbalance that can determine whether or not the love is strong enough to endure and/or overcome the problem. Backstory: This piece was created after a breakup from a short relationship. Although it was a sad parting, I understood that what I learned from this breakup was that I have my own boundaries. One being that I would be the person that allows myself to carry a relationship when things go on for a long time imbalanced. It was a sad piece, but also a proud moment in my own growth.
