I am a 33 year old artist born and raised in Connecticut. I graduated from The College of Saint Rose with a BFA in painting in 2010 and moved to NYC thereafter. In the past 10 years of my career I have worked with Paul Calendrillo Fine Art, NYC, Isis Pheonix Art, London, and currently Isabella Garrucho Fine Art, Greenwich CT.
The journey of self-discovery and healing is both my motivation and process for making art. Drawing inspiration from midcentury design and sacred art from around the world, my hope as an artist is to share the peace, inner sacredness, and light that I find within myself in hopes that it will help others to connect even more with their own light, and to use art in a powerful way to create sacred spaces for others that will support this relationship.
I draw inspiration from artists like Hilma Af Klint who infused spirituality, science, and metaphysical symbolism into her work, and blend it with the visual execution of abstract expressionists like Robert Motherwell whose confident and direct approach to painting, mark making, texture, and palette resonate powerfully with me.
