You will never convince someone of anything beyond their comprehension, some people only see the world in black and white and others see the billions of shades of grey in between. The challenge you face is allowing people who can’t be as they are. This is a photo with Danielle Panabaker and Logan Huffman from my Submerged series. I held my breath somewhere between 4-5 minutes for this photo and the longest I stayed down was about 5 and a half minutes during this series. I trained myself to be able to hold my breath for extended periods, and there is something so peaceful about holding your breath that long you learn to slow your heart rate down and calm every part of yourself all while still operating the camera and directing the shot.
