Allie captivated the camera like a young Marilyn Monroe. Lovely and elusive, debonnaire and delicate. Her silkened coat draped perfectly around her slender facial features and her eyes contained just the right amount of Hollywood glow. But much like what made Marilyn’s images so interesting, Allie was clearly more than just a pretty face. She looked deliberately into my lens with such honesty, as if to echo Monroe in saying, “Imperfection is beauty.”
