It’s not often we get to experience awe in our day-to-day lives. With the many advances we’ve made in technology, fewer and fewer things seem to feel new or precious. One of the reasons I am passionate about photographing animals is because it gives us the chance to marvel again. To witness these magnificent creatures up close creates a rare and precious opportunity to be in awe—to connect and reflect in a lasting way.
