Francis is a fighter. Born five weeks early and severely underweight, this little one came close to not making it. After 48 hours of close calls and her caring owner nursing her the whole way through, baby Francis began to show more and more signs of life. Now thriving at her one-year mark, this sweet-faced cria still clings to her human hero. I love the beautiful contrast of the brown and cream colors throughout her coat and how they work together to symbolize the dark she was born into and the light she has found.
