S stands for Suzie, but on this day, it also stood for skittish. While it’s common for horses to be a bit jumpy, we knew this black beauty was high energy and extra prone to excitement. Keeping Suzie calm and comfortable was my highest priority, so I called for total silence on set. Only the click of my camera could be heard. We also worked hard to create a large, soft source of light to showcase her stunning shape, poised form, and pristine textures.
