Wayne Crosby squeezed us into his schedule—barely. Prior to the shoot, he spent some time in the pasture kicking up dirt, chomping on hay, and chasing after some pretty heifers. Sometimes I prefer to photograph animals that are clean and pristine, but, in Crosby’s case, I wanted to photograph him in all of his dusty glory. We created a mobile set in the big red barn and were able to capture a handful of frames before he ran out on us. Thanks for your time, bud.
