This portrait of Sheena is decidedly feminine. I’ve been lucky to have the amazing experience photographing big cats. I’ve created portraits of lions, tigers, cougars, panthers, cheetahs, and two spotted leopards. In person, the spotted leopard is without a doubt the most stunning. The spots, the pattern, the color, the strength, the grace is overwhelmingly beautiful. I hope my pictures do them justice. This is Sheena who had such amazing and calming presence on set. Sadly she passed away from a rare disease 2 months after this photograph was taken. She is dearly missed.
