Ring Tailed Coati
Medium: Digital C-Print on Archival Photographic Paper
Year: 2018
One step. Two step. Stop. Tail Up. Perfect pose Olmec. Ring Tailed Coati’s are everywhere in Central America. So much so we even had one walk up to us on a beach on the Yucatan peninsula. Olmec takes his namesake from the earliest known major civilization in Mexico. The Olmec’s lived in the tropical lowlands of south-central Mexico, in the present-day states of Veracruz and Tabasco. If you see Olmec in his native habit, give him my regards.
