Pigeons often get a bad rap, but I absolutely love the subtle iridescent pops of turquoise and purple along Shiloh’s long neck. She, like many other birds photographed in the studio, wanted to fly. In the end, we worked with her impulses and waited patiently for an opportunity to capture her simple, clean, upright profile to showcase her beauty.
