I wanted to create a pigeon portrait of Milo that was very similar to his pigeon friend, Shiloh. I worked with Milo on the same small farm that I shot Shiloh on, and they both proved equally difficult to photograph. The only way to encourage photo progress? Sprinkle seed on set. We would spread some seed in front of him, capture one to two frames, and then watch Milo fly off. It was quite the practice in pigeon patience.
