Catherine Deneuve at Sixteen in St. Tropez 1961-- Taken for the Jan. 13, 1961 issue of LIFE, Catherine Deneuve was only sixteen when Mark Shaw photographed her in St. Tropez during a shoot with her older, more famous sister, the late Francoise Dorleac. This image was never published in LIFE and many may not realize that the now iconic Deneuve was once a brunette.
